Our fees can be paid in installments as work progresses or at the conclusion of the matter if agreed.
Should you require our services on a matter that cannot be negotiated as a fixed fee, our hourly charge out rate is $300 per hour.
We will set out our fees and estimate all disbursements in a retainer agreement which you finalise before any work is completed. There are no hidden charges.
We will keep you informed of our progress every step of the way so that you know exactly what is happening with your matter and when your work is complete.
For fixed fee matters, you will know up front the amount of the fee and when it is payable.
What are “Disbursements”? Good question.
These are the charges we incur with your permission to external providers such as filing agent fees, Court filing fees, registration charges, stamping costs, copying costs, lodgement fees and search fees.
The disbursements that are incurred during a property transaction vary depending upon the type of property, any encumbrances on the title of the property and other factors individual to each property.
We do not add anything on, these are costs incurred with your persmission that are simply passed on to you.
We will let you know at the outset of your matter what we estimate the likely disbursements will be so there are no nasty surprises.
